Qiagen is seeking an experienced and results-driven Enterprise Account Manager with a focus on selling bioinformatics software to top pharmaceutical accounts worldwide. The primary responsibilities of this role include expanding account usage of existing products, cross-selling additional product capabilities, and ensuring year-over-year (YoY) account growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships, introducing new products, and achieving ambitious sales targets within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Account Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive expansion, cross-selling, and overall growth within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Relationship Building: Establish and foster strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in top pharmaceutical accounts. Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Qiagen’s bioinformatics software and its applications. Effectively communicate product features and benefits to address customer requirements and challenges.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed annual sales targets through effective account management, solution selling, and negotiation skills.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Provide feedback to internal teams to contribute to product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with company objectives.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market trends. Provide regular reports to management on account performance and sales forecasts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or additional certifications are a plus.
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical and Bioinformatics space, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including its challenges, regulations, and trends.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Solution Selling: Proven experience in solution selling and introducing new products to existing accounts.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
